Specialty: Ballet

Avery began dancing at the age of 2 and instantly fell in love with ballet. She came to C.O.R.E. at the age of 7 and joined the first year of the Competitive Team.

Avery continued for 12 years and began teaching in her graduating years. Growing up at the studio surrounded by her mentors Miss Nicole and Miss Jamie, her love of teaching grew. Miss Avery has completed all Grades of The Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Exams up to Advanced 2, where she completed soloist exams. She is consistently training to improve her own technique and teaching skills to prepare for a teaching career. When not at the studio, Avery teaches figure skaters their off-ice dance training and has been working with the ballet company Canada’s Ballet Jorgen for the Brantford Nutcracker Local Participant cast as the Rehearsal Master. She has always had a strong connection with children. Truly in her heart is her passion to help people grow, learn and share her love of ballet with all her students.
