Yes, we are a Dance Studio! However, the “O” in CORE stands for Overall Health and that’s for the entire family!!

At CORE, we offer a variety of fitness classes for every age and ability! Shelly, Ang and I feel that fitness should be motivating and fun. It’s not about what the scale says and it’s not about a fad diet. Our classes are awesome and make you feel amazing! Take some time for YOU and come and give some of our classes a try!

Kettlebell

Kettlebell Basics/Technique
==========
Learn the form and fundamental movement patterns of kettlebell training while progressing at your own pace. Classes include detailed instruction of moves as well as circuit style workouts to help build strength and endurance.

Kettlebell Tabata

Combine the fundamentals of kettlebell tech with fat-frying cardio moves in this high-intensity circuit style class. Kick your metabolism into high gear and increase your after-burn…you will be challenged!!

Kettlebell Builder

Increase the intensity of your kettlebell workouts using more weight, more complex moves, or double kettlebells. This class is a great way to build your strength, knowledge, and kettlebell technique.

Pound

Channel your inner rockstar with this full-body cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. This exhilarating full-body workout combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements using lightly weighted drumsticks. Pound is designed for all fitness levels and provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, and toning up. Pound appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

Barre Concepts

This increasingly popular exercise program is a ballet-inspired workout combining dance with Pilates and yoga-based moves, providing a fun, total body workout that will leave you feeling energized and great! Balance, strength, stamina, power, flexibility, and motor control all improve. This workout produces dramatic results that sculpt and redefine the entire body. This low impact total body workout lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs, and sculpts the arms. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness. This workout is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Cardio Dance

This class combines awesome Jazz & Hip Hop Dance with High Intensity Cardio and Strength Training. We now have over 70 pre-choreographed songs that work your entire body while you’re having a blast!! You will catch on quick, have fun and not even realize you’re getting a total body workout!!

Strong by Zumba

This is NOT a dance class!

Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.

In each class you’ll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG by Zumba® instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max.

Structured periods of work:rest to challenge all fitness levels. Build strength and burn fat with functional bodyweight movements. A high energy class that will leave you feeling strong!!

Quarters

Looking for an “all-in-one” class? This is it! Sweat through 15 minutes each of cardio, upper body strength, lower body strength, and core/stretch. A great way to maximize your workout time.

Bootcamp

45 minutes of intense drills to test your strength and stamina. Are you FIRED UP?!

Full Body Blast

45 minute class that is geared to all fitness levels. Hit all major muscle groups while you burn fat, increase endurance, and build lean muscle…progress at your own pace.
